PRT: FRANK. LY.

Photobucket

This week on Product Review Tuesdays, we bring you a little magbook/bookmag/magabook/bookalog thing called FRANK. Skate veteran and artist, Steve Olson, handed us the copy you see here while we were at Yaniv Evan’s Powerplant Choppers in L.A. a few weeks ago and it happens to also be the issue that he guest-edited.

Now, the publishers of FRANK call their issues ‘chapters’ and we can dig it. Gives off the feel that the rest of the chapters must be collected in order to get the whole dang book and if the rest of the issues are anything like Olson’s, we’ll need to start rounding up the others. When you find your copy, don’t let the diminutive size of the thing derail you –– this little book is crammed full of neat stuff by, of and for the souls we’d consider national treasures.

You can find out more over at the FRANK151 Media website (here) and let us know what you think. Like we said, we can dig it…

Steve Olson was ahead of the curve with anything I can think of. Being a student of his style as well as a personal friend it was amazing to see the people and places that influence him in this issue of Frank.
I have been a connoisseur of Frank for years now. Such an amazing little publication, every edition reveals subjects at depth usually subjects that appeal to my senses prior to seeing them in Frank, Hardcore Music, yup, Polynesian Islanders, you betcha. Frank, man, I can dig that.
