Welp, today is the 35th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s last day on the good Earth. And while much has happened since that day and we’ve all grown older and moved on, we like to pause and think back about how much one man influenced everything we do. And that prompted us to dig back in the drawer where we keep all those old snapshots of our cars and we found this one of our very first: a ’60 Matador. Hell, the first custom thing we did to it was order up an electronic turn signal ballast from the JC Whitney catalog that played “Love Me Tender.” Yeah. In the era of Buick Grand Nationals and Randy Rhoads tribute murals on jean jackets, we were rollin’ wide-whites to high school every day. God Bless Elvis Presley.
